Automated 3D Assays for Cancer & Immuno-oncology Applications using the Pu·MA System

This webinar was presented on September 28, 2022

Webinar Summary

3D cell models such as organoids and patient-derived tumor models are important for oncology research. They are bringing value in the fields of drug discovery and immuno-oncology therapeutics where animal research is not as accurate or representative of the diseased state. Treating these precious 3D cell samples with care and accuracy during assay steps is becoming increasingly important for personalized medicine and cell therapy.

In this webinar, we present strategies and simplified automated workflows for your cancer and immuno-oncology research with 3D cell models. This will include formation methods using NanoShuttle™ (Greiner Bio-One) and matrices such as VitroGel® (TheWell Biosciences) and Matrigel (Corning).

We will feature these main applications:

  • Immune cell co-cultures with patient-derived tumoroids
  • Drug treatment of cancer spheroids
  • Biomarker detection in tumoroids
  • Metabolite analyses and supernatant sampling
